What Type of Mac (or other...) are you? Poll Results.

For the nine people who voted, it's a mix, but no MacBook Airs. They are cool, but I see why no one has one.

I'll keep you more posted.

iOS 4.2 Review

After using iOS 4.2 I realized it's very good. Using it for iPad was great and multitasking makes it much easier to use. I've Skyped my friends while managing my fantasy team!

Though printing isn't that great, because not all printers are discoverable. I've tried to print on my iPhone 3GS, but no printers were discoverable.

So printing isn't that good, but everything with multitasking and AirShare is great. I really do like the update.

iOS 4.2 Update for iPhone and iPad

Today the iOS 4.2 Update for iPhone and iPad. I am very happy that finally after so long iOS 4 came out for the iPad, because now there is multitasking! I haven't tried it out yet but I'll blog more about it later.

Beats Solo HD Vs. Beats Studio

There are many great headphones out there. I have been able to experience using two very good ones. The Beats Solo HD and the Beats Studio. They are both very good headphones and I really like them. They all have the same things in the box including: protection case, monster cable cord, and warranty. The difference between the headphones I've noticed, are sound comfort, and weight. They have $100 difference so if you just want Beats, get the Solo's, not even the Solo HD. The Studios, are definitely more comfortable and have a better quality sound, but they are bigger, which makes it hard to travel with. The Solo HD aren't as comfortable, but the sound is excellent.

If anyone has more questions about them, please comment.

Inbound Marketing

I'm currently reading a book called Inbound Marketing, in this book they discuss the new ways of marketing online. I am only on the 3rd chapter, but it is a great book how to bring your marketing online.

The example they used was Obama. He was far behind Hillary Clinton but he came up with his online strategies. I recommend this book to any marketers who want to improve their methods.

New MacBook Air 11''

The new MacBook Air 11'' is an amazing computer. Besides the fact it's a fast, small, and has an ok sized hard drive Mac, it is a great computer. I've read some reviews, and they've said, the computer is AMAZING and perfect, but it is a small screen and has a small hard drive and no disk drive. Well, the truth is, you can buy a disk drive for $79.99 in addition to the $999 computer. The reviews also said, it is perfect as a second computer. It wouldn't be the best as a primary computer, because it's faults, but as a travel or extra computer it would be perfect. Also for those who want a cheap Mac with a small hard drive this would be a perfect computer.

Also this computer is so cool! Everyone who sees it tells me it's awesome! It really is a great computer.

Mark Zuckerberg at Web 2.0 Summit

I recently watched Mark Zuckerberg at Web 2.0 Summit In this video Mark was talking about how his FaceBook is so popular. He said, the reason people use FaceBook so often, is because it's social. When he created FaceBook, there were networks for: music, buying, email, etc... but nothing social. Why FaceBook is so popular, is because people want to interact with their friends that they know from home, school, camp, out-of-town, etc., and FaceBook does more than just chat, but share pictures, videos, status', messages, locations, and so much more. FaceBook is a huge social network that has over 200 million people and more than 50% of those people go on everyday. that's at least 100 million on FaceBook everyday! I know go on almost every time I'm on my computer and since I have the app on my iPhone, I go on all the time.

Some more things Mark talked about, were how people can start a whole business on FaceBook. Zynga is a gaming company that grew completely on FaceBook.

Mark explained how FaceBook is right in the middle of the web designing spectrum. Microsoft has a great unit but thousands and thousands of designers. FaceBook has 200 millions of users but only hundreds of designers.

Mark said something spectral also, that if you're making something people will love, you can make many mistakes to mature your company and make it the best it can be.

He said kids love technology. Someone asked him if FaceBook would make something for educational use. He explained how if someone made an application for education that was attractive to kids, people might be much more into learning, because it's interactive and with technology.

Being social is what makes FaceBook so successful. People would rather listen to music their friends are listening then listen to something that is just popular on iTunes. When something gets social, it becomes much more popular than when it is unsocial.

FaceBook wants to help businesses grow so they help make the company social, while the companies do what they do. As companies grow, they need to become social so they can grow bigger and more popular.

Mark said the map of the internet is not all taken on, because if everything is filled them people have to take over territory. The map is mostly free space because anyone can take over and make their site, or blog, on that map because the extra space on the map is endless.

"We lived in farms, then we lived in cities, and now we're gonna live on the internet!" -The Social Network
